It eats the hay and makes nests in the shredded paper, it`s also good as it recycling!!! Try some aspen bedding, or non-colored Carefresh. Also, you can buy some toys for the dogs/cats, and chew toys for the small animals. Maybe even donate a few cages? Hamsters can use a Aspen or Carefresh bedding... they like Aspen better... not Ceder or Pine... which can result in upper resp. infection because of the chemicals they put in while processing it. Rabbits and Ferrets can be on something called Yesterday's News... which you can also use with a cat as well. its a paper formula type of pellets...Although on the bag of Yesterday's News they do say you can use it with Hamsters... i dont recommend it... and Aspen you can use with Rabbits... and i really dont recommend that either because Rabbits are more likely to get an upper resp.
