Are rabbits good on a scheduled diet?

I have 2 cats and a dog and they are all on a scheduled feeding so I thought why not do it to my bunny. My cats and dog learned quickly as to when the food was coming but will my bunny know and get excited when it is close to feeding time or will he just know hes hungry and doesn’t know when he will ever eat again?

How will I switch him to a scheduled feeding?
Will he accept the change?
Will he starve?
How many times a day should I feed him?

My new rabbit is 5 weeks old. I’m told to not give him iceberg lettuce but can I give him romaine or another kind?

I don’t know what to feed my guy except pellets and timothy grass.

my rabbits diet is:
burgess excel nuggets
burgess excel fresh herbage dandelion and marigold with timothy hay
she also has half an apple weekly and LOTS of kale daily. thats the only thing she likes.
