Depends. How old are your rabbits and are they spayed/neutered? If adult and altered, most rabbits litter train easily- they are naturally clean and often training is as easy as putting a box where they would like to potty (THEY will choose where they want to potty, and while you might be able to slowly move the box to where you want it once they are using it, you need to start wherever they naturally want to ‘go’. If you intend on having them have access to multiple rooms, you may need to put one in each room. Young babies and unaltered adults are very often not at all reliable at using a box. And NO CEDAR SHAVINGS (or pine). They contain compounds called aromatic hydrocarbons that can cause respiratory irritation and liver damage. Safe options are the kiln-dried wood stove pellets, recycled newspaper bedding (such as Yesterday’s News, Cell-Sorb, or CareFresh), or aspen shavings.
