Testing my JVC GZ-MG630 Video Camera. Zooming in on a Cotton Tail rabbit from some 40 to 50 yards.

Good job with the camera. It seems good. I used to see so many rabbits out here in LA, but with all of the development that has happened, I don’t see too many of them or squirrels anymore. 5*

I was waiting for a red tail hawk to swoop in and some grab dinner! Nice rabbit clip! I’ve always wondered what rabbit meat taste like.

scenerio-1971 I got married to city girl. Off to visit Mom and Dad. Mother and wife gone shopping, so I go hunting..They come home wife looks in fridge. Fresh skinned rabbit on a plate in fridge. Wife ask mom, What is that? Mom looks in frige and replies, why thats supper of course, LOL Wife wouldnt eat any, LOL

My grandfather taught me to skin them when I was 5 . A great skill.

As A kid I use to have a line of Rabbit Traps. I would walk the traps every morning, collect the rabbits I occasionally caught. We kept them in a pen untill time to eat one. Then fresh Rabbit on the table. We had no freezer LOL Talk about good eating. mmmmmGood

Rabbit does taste good . I think it’s called hossenpheffer. (from my Bugs Bunny days)Thanks for sharing.
