We had to give our chinchillas some rabbit food since we were in a budget crisis and they seem to really like it. I tried researching it and people are saying it is bad for their liver. I need more of a detailed scientific explanation to believe that. I would greatly appreciate a sensible and informative response.
Some other info: They have had it for about a month and no poop or fur changes. They behave like they always have and gobble it down. So no differences that would cause me to worry about them.
I don’t need any smart ass answers like "Rabbit food is for rabbits blah blah blah".
Thanks!

Rabbit breeds?
Alright so I have tried to identify the breed of my rabbit many times but I just can’t figure it out! I plan to take him to the vet in a few weeks and I will ask him or her that question, but for now, could anyone help me identify the breed of my rabbit? I know no one could probably give a 100% correct analysis of his breed just by a picture and not being able to see it in real life, but can anyone help me narrow it down to a couple of breeds that he could be?
Please answer only if you are experienced with identifying rabbit breeds.

Yeah, the ear thing confused me also. Since one of his ears usually sticks straight up and the other is either flat down on his back or to the side.
His fur is VERY soft and I suppose that I would describe it as velvety feeling. His coat is very smooth and shiny.
