aw...what if it was a mama bunny, and you took it away from its babies?

Why don't you just put fencing around your garden? You can't stop bunnies from living where you are....there will always be more, no matter how many you catch and release.

Just trying to help :)

Try clover that is their preferred food. But what if the rabbit is 'supporting a family. Cant you just fence it off? If you take away the mama then the babies die.

Why don't you use whatever it is that they are eating out of your garden? Obviously, they like it.

Well, if you don't want to kill them, and they seem to like your crops, just load up some of your crops in a large cage and build a fence around your garden. If they have rabbit holes inside your garden, cover them up with something leaving only one exit near the cage.

But you should also try calling animal control or something.

You'll never catch a wild rabbit with bait, when there is fresh live vegetables growing near by. You should instead turn your efforts to rabbit-proofing your garden. Improve your fencing, plant some marigolds, and buy a plastic owl with a head that swivels in the wind.
