I’m fostering an over weight bun on a strict diet but is allowed healthy treats in MODERATION! I have a treat ball where she has to chase it and really work for it and i think its a great exercise motivator.

For a long list of things you can and cannot feed your rabbit go to the Mulberry Creek Rabbitry website at http://srcw.us/rabbitcare On this page there is a free downloadable flyer.
Some fruits and vegetables are dangerous or bad for rabbits. If it isn’t on the list–I wouldn’t chance it, unless you find another source that says it is safe for rabbits.
Rabbits have sensitive systems–diarrhea is the #1 killer of rabbits–so, always give treats in moderation.
There is also a lot more information about rabbit care you may find useful.
Fresh fruits and vegetables. Carrots for sure.
Ah that would be carrots Mate
timothy hay (alfafa is too rich), not too much carrot, it’s a starchy veggie, apples, blueberries, leafy, dark green vegetables.
Give a variety of food for different vitamins, minerals and such.

On this page there is a list of rabbit-safe veggies. you can choose one of those, or put a little bit of fruit in. all my rabbits will always chase after fruit or fresh herbs more than vegetables, but it depends on the particular rabbit.
Try some prairie or timothy hay. This is very low in calories but high in fiber and gives them something to play with. Avoid alfalfa hay, it is too rich.
My rabbits love raisins, they are probably not healthy in excessive amounts tho.
NONE!
A rabbit diet should consist of pellets, hay and water. Hay is recommended at least once a week. It is not necessary daily as the pellets will fulfill nutritional requirements. However, it will not hurt either.
You’ll find that your rabbit will consider the hay to be a treat. We feed it every two or three days and they go crazy when they see it.
